Dr. Art Vogel, M.D. Ph.D.

Dr. Vogel is originally from New York City, but has lived in Seattle for the past 16 years. He obtained his undergraduate degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo, and received both M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from New York University.
Before joining CytoLab Pathology Services, he was a member of the medical school faculties at the University of Washington and St. Louis University.
Dr. Vogel has been with Cytolab for 16 years. His interests include cervicovaginal cytology, breast, gastrointestinal, and prostate pathology.

Paul Taylor-Smith, MD

Dr. Taylor-Smith has been with Cytolab Pathology Services since 1983. He obtained his medical degree from the University of the Witerwatersand in Johannesburg, South Africa. As medical director of PPL Dr. Taylor-Smith has been responsible for the selection of all instrumentation, diagnostic methods and computerization of the laboratory. He develops continuing educational programs for clients and staff. He is available for clinical consultation and assistance to clients.

Lynh Le

Lynh Le originally hails from Vietnam and immigrated to sunny San Diego at the tender age of 6 months. After tiring of the sandy beaches and sunny skies she moved to Seattle after obtaining her B.S. in General Biology at the University of California, San Diego. She has since obtained a Masters in Forensic Science, is a certified Medical Technologist with ASCP, and is a current member of the Washington State Chapter of ASCLS. Before joining PPL’s management team Lynh worked as a Medical Technologist at local hospital laboratories and was a Shoreline Community College faculty member in their accredited Medical Technology Program. She enjoys the frenetic pace of a clinical reference laboratory and is excited by emerging technologies in this evolving field.
Lynh enjoys collecting take-out menus, eating out, shoes, travel, and spending quality time with her Siamese cat Solomon, her Rotweiller/Collie Nikita, and her husband of many years, Richard.

Rob Slater

Rob has a background in computer technical support and specimen processing. He has been with PPL for two years. Rob was a processor for a total of 5 years with Dynacare, UW, and PPL. After a year of processing at PPL he moved to the Field Service Technician position and later became Systems Administrator for both PPL and Cytolab.
